Brand identity
Positioning, logo, palette, type, and the rules that hold them together.
Brand systems studio
We build the identity, the rules behind it, and the templates that apply it: decks, pages, emails, social. Then we hand over every source file and leave you able to keep it consistent without booking us again.
Mumbai, India. Working remotely, in writing, with startup teams.
The actual problem
They have a consistency problem. The logo is fine. The colours are fine. But the deck, the site, the invoice and the LinkedIn banner were each made by a different person in a different week, and together they read as four companies.
That is not solved by a new logo. It is solved by deciding the rules once, writing them down, and building the templates that make following them the easy option.
What we do
Each one is scoped, priced from a published number, and delivered with the source files.
Positioning, logo, palette, type, and the rules that hold them together.
One mark, drawn on a grid, in every format and lockup you will need.
Tokens, components and documentation your developers can build from.
Investor and sales decks, plus a template your team can keep using.
Fast, accessible pages designed and built to match the brand.
Templates that survive Outlook, Gmail clipping and dark mode.
Post systems and templates so a non-designer can ship on time.
A designer inside your week, without the hire or the notice period.
Selected work
Fewer, longer case studies. What the brief was, what we changed, and what we would do differently.
The identity you are looking at: an X that turns into an arrow, drawn on a 100-unit grid in brass, ink and parchment.
Placeholder case study. Replace with a real client project before launch.

How it runs
We look at everything you already use and write down what is inconsistent and why it matters. You get this even if you stop here.
Two routes, not eight. Each one argued in writing so you are choosing on reasoning, not taste.
The chosen route drawn out properly: mark, palette, type, layout rules, and the applications you actually send out.
Source files, fonts, a written system, and a walkthrough call recorded so your next hire can watch it.

Insights
Most brands that look tired are not badly designed. They are applied twelve different ways by nine different people.
A logo is one file in a folder. Here is the rest of the folder, and what each part is for.
Word renders your email in Outlook for Windows. Design around that and the rest gets easier.
Before you ask
Four to six weeks for the full build, assuming feedback comes back within two working days. The audit is week one, direction week two, and the rest is drawing and documenting.
Yes. Every source file, in the format it was made in, plus the fonts or the licence details for them. There is no retainer required to open your own artwork.
Often, yes. If the mark is sound and the problem is everything around it, we will say so and scope a system instead of a redraw. That is a cheaper project and we will tell you.
The person you speak with on the first call. There is no account layer and no handoff to someone you have not met.
Thirty days of small fixes are included. After that it is either an hourly rate or a retainer, and most teams need neither, which is the point.
Send the deck, the site and the last thing you were unhappy with. We will reply with what we would change first and what it would cost.
